Dress Policy
ME Academy Uniform & Dress Standards
All students enrolled at ME Academy are required to adhere to the school's uniform and dress standards. These standards reflect our Islamic values and the professional learning environment we maintain at ME Academy.
General Requirements
- All clothing must be modest, clean, and in good condition.
- Clothing should be loose-fitting and not tight or form-revealing.
- School uniform must be worn on all class days unless otherwise advised.
For Female Students
- A hijab (head covering) is required for all female students.
- Loose-fitting abaya or school dress with long sleeves is required.
- No tight-fitting trousers, short sleeves, or uncovered hair permitted.
For Male Students
- Full-length trousers and a collared or plain school shirt.
- No shorts permitted during class hours.
- Clothing must be clean and presentable at all times.
Footwear
- Clean, closed-toe shoes are required. Thongs or open footwear are not permitted.

Food Policy
ME Academy Halal Food & Allergy Guidelines
ME Academy is a halal-only environment. All food and beverages brought to campus by students, families, or guests must comply with halal dietary requirements.
Halal Requirement
- All food brought to ME Academy must be halal — including snacks, lunches, and any items shared at school events.
- Non-halal meat, pork products, and alcohol-containing items are strictly prohibited on campus.
- Halal certification on packaged products is preferred where available.
Allergy Awareness
- We ask all families to be mindful of common allergens including nuts, dairy, and gluten.
- Students with known allergies should be registered with the school office.
- Nut products are discouraged and may be restricted depending on enrolled students' medical needs.
Shared Food at Events
- Any food shared at school gatherings or celebrations must be approved by the school in advance.
- Homemade food brought in for sharing should be accompanied by a list of ingredients.

Behaviour Policy
ME Academy Standards of Conduct
ME Academy expects all students to demonstrate respect, responsibility, and Islamic character in every aspect of their school life. Our behaviour expectations are grounded in Islamic values and a commitment to a safe, productive learning environment for all.
Core Expectations
- Treat teachers, staff, and fellow students with respect and kindness at all times.
- Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to engage in learning.
- Follow teacher instructions promptly and without argument.
- Maintain Islamic adab (conduct) in speech, behaviour, and interaction.
Unacceptable Behaviour
- Bullying, harassment, or disrespectful conduct in any form will not be tolerated.
- Lying, cheating, or dishonesty is contrary to our values and will be addressed seriously.
- Use of mobile phones or personal devices during class hours without permission is not permitted.
Consequences
- Behaviour concerns will be addressed through a fair and consistent process involving the student, parents, and school leadership.
- Persistent or serious misconduct may result in suspension or, in extreme cases, disenrolment.
Positive Reinforcement
- ME Academy celebrates students who demonstrate outstanding character, effort, and Islamic values through recognition programs and parent communication.
